20 Motivational Lessons From An Aged Woman Who Have Seen It All In Her Life

Lets discuss about an old woman who says that life has taught me many things. I have known days of joy, days of sorrow, quiet days, and days of lamentation. I have lost some people, I have gone through some pain, I have made some wrongs and I have found the strength to move on. I now know that things are not static in life. All tough times come and go and all good times deserve to be cherished. The first thing I learned is to be patient. There are lots of things that don’t happen when we want them to happen.

Lessons From Aged Woman

We might be weary and distressed, but time is a thing. As a youngster, I wanted swift responses. Now I see that peace is possible when we do not fight each delay. Cardiac patience is helped by patience. I also discovered that fear diminishes when we confront it. Fear can hinder us from living. It may make us feel weak in ourselves. However, once we take that little step, we start to feel brave. We don’t necessarily have to learn all the things. We need just enough the courage to go on.

Another lesson is that it’s not the end of the world if they make a mistake. There have been so many bad decisions I have made. A long while ago I blamed myself for this. I went to understand later that errors can be instructive. We should accept them, learn from them, and forgive ourselves. One can not grow up carrying the old guilt burden everyday. Life also taught me that I should not rely on the acceptance of people. It is our own heart we should listen to and select what we feel will bring peace.

I was taught how to look after myself physically and mentally. Well, health is a wonderful blessing. Rest is important. All things food, movement, sleep and quiet thoughts are important. We tend to neglect ourselves when we take care of others. We need kindness, care and attention as well. I’ve learned also the power of letting go. No pain, no regret, no broken relationship can be our companions for life. There are certain things that need to be let go. Letting go does not mean that the past didn’t matter.

I have been taught that there is no such thing as being too kind. Softness can be of this and others through a gentle word, a patient heart and honest care. The best thing I can pass on is hope. Things can change in a day. The broken heart can mend. A worn out man can get up and start again. We’re not worthless just because of our age. Learning, loving, growing, finding peace is possible as long as we are alive. Keep going gently. Stay positive. There is still a purpose to your life.
