Pixie is not large, is benevolent, light-hearted. Brutus is big, strong, and serious, but he has a caring heart. They are very different, yet they co-exist in an uncomplicated and serene manner. Pixie likes a peaceful day. She prefers silence, gentle movements and mild thoughts. Noise and trouble are not on her agenda. She thinks that it is the heart that is safe in a peaceful life. Her world is little, yet, it is quite comfortable. She is neither in a hurry nor is she overly worried.
Peace and Quiet
Brutus is burdened with his past. He has experienced the worst and has his powerful recollections. His heart gets weary at times, but his body is strong. When he begins to have an affair with Pixie, he gradually begins to have a feeling. Her serene personality does bring soothing transformation in him. He starts to realize that life need never necessarily be loud or stressful. They become friends in a low profile. They do not require numerous words. They share their time together and spend some simple time together. This silent moment will be a special one.

It is in the story that everything in life does not require action or noise. Other times, just being quiet suffices. When Pixie remains in control, Brutus comes to know how to relax. Pixie feels safe when Brutus is by her side. They form a miniature world whereby peace is able to exist. Brutus experiences some episodes when he has intense emotions. His past makes an attempt to reappear in his mind. But the warmness of Pixie assists him to remain stable.

She does not challenge his affections. She merely just hangs around him silently supporting him. This is a lesson that peace does not imply an escape of issues. It implies confronting them with a level mind. Brutus is also able to teach Pixie. She knows that toughness may be tender. Although he appears to be tough, he instead resolves to defend peace as opposed to destroying it. This indicates that true strength is not loud, aggressive. It is silent and desiccating. Their tale helps us not to forget that peace is not something that is far away.

It is a great comfort to sit somewhere and feel secure and be with someone who understands. It is not the issue of having a perfect life. It is concerning a peaceful heart. Ultimately, Pixie and Brutus reveal a mere fact. In its own way, peace and quiet are quite powerful. The presence of noise is not necessary to be felt. They mature slowly and longer. The moral of the story is that despite a hectic and noisy world, it is still possible to lead a calm and peaceful life.
